Recovering Partygoer

I had a great time Saturday night. Paul took Kyle for the night and I drove down to Rosarito with Boo. We met up with Angel, Nyna and Connie for a night out. Since almost all the girls, except Nyna, are under 21 and we can never go out on this side of the border, it was fun to finally get out all together. Merlin and Yuto were nice enough to come out with us and be "our guys" (you can never be too safe in Mexico). We danced, hung out, played volleyball and ate till the wee hours of the morning.
Back in the day I could stay out all night, get an hour of sleep, have a couple cups of coffee and be ready to face the next week no worse for wear. Not anymore! I slept a few hours Saturday night and then a straight 8 hours Sunday night after we got home, but I was still so out of it today. I could barely keep my eyes open all morning and was so disappointed in myself. Maria says I'm "maturing, not aging". Thanks Maria, but it all sounds the same to me and I'm realizing that I really have to count the cost before I go partying all night. I guess it's the Lord's way of slowing me down, heh.
But I found the cure. It was cold today, so I strapped on my MP3 player and headed outside for a good 45 minute run. The cold air, killer hills and Philly Dee's pumping music got me going and I was wide awake the rest of the day. Thank God for that. Oops, now my knees hurt...............

Cowboys and Indians

I really need to get myself a digital camera. I still have what I like to call a "natural" camera, with film and everything. Every time I get my film developed I have the pictures put on CD, so I'm a little up with the times. I just got my latest roll back and thought I'd post some pictures of our Cowboy/Indian dress up night last month. Kyle was the cutest little blond indian in the world, and Connie & I were saloon girls. I was told to make a "sexy" face for this photo, but I'm so bad at that and couldn't stop laughing. Connie did real well though......*sizzle*.

Oops

I know, I've been so, so delinquent with my blog, but now that we have T1 (thanks Phil!) and it doesn't take forver to do stuff OL anymore, I'll try to do better. I love you all and I promise you'll hear from me more often, ...if anyone is even checking this thing anymore.
